More Than a Century of SkiingThe Itasca Ski & Outing Club began in 1906 as a ski jumping club that is still active today. Over the years, additional skiing sports were added to Mt. Itasca’s venue base: biathlon, cross country, downhill and snowboarding.A Place for EveryoneOlympians, Junior Olympians, Junior Worlds Team members, U.S. Ski Team members, and many others have competed here. The facility has hosted Junior Olympics, Nationals, Junior Worlds Team qualification events, and national SuperTour competitions, as well as high school, local and regional events.The venues at Mt. Itasca are awesome for beginners and competitive skiers. With full snow-making capabilities and professional grooming machines, Mt. Itasca is ready for fun early in the season. The main chalet houses restrooms, concessions, ticket sales, equipment rental and ski patrol headquarters. The chalet’s large windows overlook the downhill and jumping venues -- great viewing for spectators!
