Cross-Country Skiing  click photo to see trail map   IWSC has 20 KM of groomed cross- country ski trails, with loops suitable for all skill levels and all ages.  6.5 KM of the trails have lights for night skiing.   Youth Ski Schedule  new schedule coming soon   Ski Jumping  click aerial photo below to enlarge   Our ski jumping complex includes five jumps, ranging in size from 5 meter to 60 meter.  That’s not a description of height ... it’s the “par” distance that a good skier should be able to fly from takeoff to landing.  The little 5 meter jump is suited for little kids and even adult beginners!  As youngsters gain skill, they can move up to a bigger jump ... when they, their coach, and their parents see that they’re ready for that transition.  Visit SkiJumpingUSA.com Nordic Combined   In the sport of Nordic Combined, athletes ski jump first, and their jump score is used to determine starting position in a cross-country race.  The USA scored a fistful of medals at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver ...   in Nordic Combined.  Learn it here!!! Snowshoe Guidelines Released  Snowshoeing has become increasingly popular, and we have trails for the enjoyment of this sport.  We’ve developed guidelines for snowshoeing, and you can view them online ... CLICK HERE.  Hiking   During the summer, our trails are open to members for hiking ... enjoy our beautiful wooded trails; see wildlife and wildflowers!  It’s a great way to enjoy yourself and get some great exercise.   How to find IWSC Take Hwy 49 five miles north of Iola, Wisconsin to County MM, then 2 miles west to Norseman Hill.
