E-mail address on homepage. GENEALOGY NOTES: 2020: I was recently given access to John E’s ancestry going back several generations; we will provide more about that as we acquire more and digest it. We can state that his mother, Ulrica, was one of ten siblings (six girls and four boys), born to Per Matsson (1796-1877) and Kristina (Stina) Samuelsdotter (1796-1880). Per was the son of Mats Martensson (1733-1810) and Catharina Johansdotter (1744-1785). I have information on both of those parents, plus their parents and grandparents, going back to the 1600s. I DID NOT research this; a friend doing genealogy saw this website, looked up John E and Johanna, found them, and put me in touch with the young woman who has done this research, and kindly shared it with me. Her great-great-great grandmother was a sister of Ulrica, John E’s mother! We will continue to trade information. -- Tusen Takk to Leland Carlson and Jamie Wenisch, Minnesota 2023: My son Kris informed me he’s gaking his son Soren (age 12) to Sweden this spring. That got me in gear to scan a series of slides from a trip my parents took to Sweden (dad’s family) and England (mom’s family) in the spring of 1967. Kris found a link to a fellow named Jan Driessen in Stockholm who had done research on his own family, which is related to John E Anderson’s family. I sent him this site as an introduction, and he researched Grandma Johanna’s family, and found he was connected to that family tree as well.
